This month Scott celebrated his 39th
birthday. This kids and I decided to take
him to a Mariners game. It was lots of fun,
but we ended up having to leave during the
7th inning because of the kids.
We used the kayak quite a bit, and the kids
had so much fun exploring and catching
things with their nets. The wildlife is
amazing when we are paddling.
Later in the month, the kids went to Scott's
brothers and we had a weekend away. We
went to the Strictly Sail boat show in
Oakland with our friends Rich & Echo.
We had so much fun looking at all the boat
gear and especially partying with
Latitudes and Attitudes. We ended up
spending tons, but we had a blast. One of
the highlights was the Mount Gay Rum
tasting booth. Yumm!
Scott's been getting many projects done on
the boat recently. He's been doing the
brightwork and painting and Ghost looks
beautiful. I've been working tons and
meeting more cool cruisers and sailers.
It's hard seeing so many cruisers planning
to head south this fall. Wish we could go
now, too.
