We were able to get the boat out this month
and it was wonderful! We spent a late
Christmas with our close friends and headed
to Poulsbo for 2 nights. It was so great
getting out. Shari painted a picture of Ghost
for us, which was one of the most wonderful
gifts we have ever received. We got them the
game, Dread Pirate, and had fun playing it with
them. I would recommend the game to
anyone who loves adventure and pirates.
Definitely cool!
The kids did great on the sail. They love being
up on deck while underway, even when the
weather isn't great!
Back at home, we have been making a new
little friend. In the mornings while walking to
school, a little seal has been hanging out on a
little dinghy dock next to the main dock. He
doesn't seem to mind us at all and just looks
up for a second and then goes back to sleep.
He's really cute. Zak has named him Karchurd
(don't know where that came from).
