Merry Christmas Everyone! This month was
extremely busy. Scott and I were able to
attend a Lats and Atts party at the Sloop
Tavern at the beginning of the month, and it
was great seeing all the wonderful people who
make up that group. We had so much fun.
One night while Scott was away working, Ellie
came up to me and said "Mommy, don't I look
pretty?" I said, "why, what did you do?" and
she said, "Zak cut my hair." Mommy was
pretty upset, but it was an emotion that
included anger, tears, and laughter. So you
can see Ellie's new look in the pictures on the
side.
Around the middle of the month the kids and I
headed to Wisconsin to spend Christmas with
Scott's parents. We had a great time playing
in the snow, ice fishing, and seeing Scott's
relatives. Scott met us there on the 23rd and
his brother and family also drove from Seattle
to be there. It was a wonderful holiday.
While the kids and I were away Scott did some
remodeling on the boat and installed a
propane hot water heater and Dickenson
diesel furnace. He also made a little area for
the kids to lounge and keep some of their
toys. It's really great!
The kids and I spent New Years with Scott's
Aunt and Uncle and we had a great time. Zak
was a little sick and we couldn't make the
flight home we had planned on, so we stayed
in Chicago for a couple days and really
enjoyed getting to know Scott's relatives
better.
