This month was a very busy month. We had a
number of playdates, went sailing for a L&A
BBQ to Blake Island on Zak's 4th birthday,
went and had dinner at some new friends'
house, and visited with the Easter Bunny. We
had so much fun. One of our playdates was
with some friends from school who love to
play dress-up. I felt so bad for Zak, because
all we have are girl dress-up clothes. Guess I
better get some fire fighter or police officer
dress-up gear. Or even better, pirates!
We also got our new boom installed and
enjoyed some great sailing to Blake Island for
a Lattitudes and Attitudes BBQ. Not too many
showed up, but it was great to see Bruce from
Valhalla, his son, Bjorn, CB & Tawn, and Dan &
Lisa. Our friends, Bob & Shari and the girls
came up from Portland to help celebrate Zak's
4th birthday. We had to endure some rain, but
it was such a great weekend.
We met some great new friends through
Living Aboard and after having them over for
lunch last month, they invited us to their
house for dinner. It was so much fun. The
kids had a blast making their own pizzas and
being spoiled by Echo & Rich. They are
thinking about taking the step of selling their
house and buying a boat to live on. It's fun to
help in their adventure.
Easter was wonderful this year. The kids are
really starting to enjoy holidays more and we
were able to spend Easter with some friends
from school. The kids did an Easter Egg Hunt
(scramble) at church and got lots of goodies.
We are enjoying the nice weather on the boat.
We have been seeing many otters, seals,
kingfishers, ducks, and birds. The kids are
having fun looking up names of animals they
don't know. Spring is such a wonderful time
of the year.
