Another busy month.  It's amazing how much
we can pack into a month.  We went to Boise
to visit family for a couple days the first part
of the month.  With the beautiful weather we
spent a lot of time on the water in the dinghy
and on the boat playing.
After 6 years, we finally got the name on our
boat!  It is so nice to have an identity now.  We
both are happy with how it turned out.
We headed out to another Latitudes and
Attitudes gathering around the 22nd at Blake
Island.  We headed over on Friday morning,
got some absolutely wonderful sailing in, and
even had time to take the kids to play on the
beach.  The weather was beautiful.  On
Saturday morning we went over to the island
for some hiking and CB and Tawn came over
aboard Strange Crew and Billy and Trish came
over aboard Kwinhagak.  They arrived around
lunch time and they all headed over to Ghost
for some lunch.  We had planned on heading
to the beach for a bon fire for dinner, but the
weather turned a little nasty with some wind
and rain, so we decided to come back over to
Ghost for dinner.  It's easier having the kids
on their own boat.  It was such a wonderful
evening.  Great food, Great friends, Great fun!
We had another great sail back on Sunday
morning.  It was so wonderful to get out and
meet up with such great people.
Other than that, we spend most of our free
time on deck, walking down to the beach/park,
or out in our dinghy sailing.  Scott was able to
get out quite a bit in the dinghy with the kids.
They all love seeing the seals on the other
side of the breakwater, as well as all the blue
herons, otters, ducks, and eagles.  It's just a
great way to live.
On the website front, I added a new section for
the kids and am researching and thinking
about adding a section on Formosa related
questions.  If anyone has any input on any of
these, please let us know.  I am also setting up
a way to send the monthly updates to anyone
who is interested.  Keep an eye out for new
and exciting things!  Just added some photos
that we took when we were looking at buying
Ghost.  Check them out down below.
