The beginning of this very busy month was
something we have been anticipating since
the first of the year.  We attended the 4th
annual Latitudes and Attitudes Pacific
Northwest Cruiser's Party.  And Ohhh what a
blast it was!  We made so many great and
wonderful new friends, saw some friends from
the past, and just had so much fun we were
smiling for a week.  Our boat was set up for
the kids who attended the party and we
enjoyed getting to know all of them.  When the
sun went down, a fellow Lats and Atts
member set up a projector and projected a
movie on the mainsail of Ghost.  The first
night was Captain Ron and the 2nd was
Pirates of the Carribean.  The kids were
invited to come aboard Ghost and we
provided cushions, blankets, pillows, and
popcorn.  There were many people lined up on
the docks and in dinghies watching the
movies, as well.  By the end of the night we
would hand off the sleeping kiddos to their
parents and take our sleeping kiddos down
below.  It was absolutely wonderful!

After the party, we came back to spend some
time with Scott's Mom before heading up to
the San Juans for the rest of the month.  We
had so much fun! We had some great friends
join us and saw some great new places in the
San Juans.  The logs will be posted in the near
future or as soon as I recover from such a
exhausting summer.  The kids did great!  They
loved getting ashore and exploring, but had
quite a bit of fun while underway.  Zak loves
swinging from the halyards and although Ellie
has tried, she hasn't mastered it as well as her
brother.  Zak also caught his first fish by
himself on this trip!  It was a small bullhead,
but he was so excited.

There are some great memories from this trip.
We will share specifics when we get the logs
posted.  If anyone has been waiting for our
updates, I apologize for the long wait.  I have
been having some issues with uploading, but
have fixed the problem (at least I hope).
